ITV’s Iain MacLeod on Running the Show
Iain MacLeod, Executive Producer for Continuing Drama at ITV Studios, signed up for our online Running the Show training and here’s what he learned.
Iain MacLeod is the executive producer for continuing drama at ITV Studios.
He has worked as series producer for Coronation Street for the past five years and Emmerdale between 2015 and 2018. During his time at Coronation Street, the show won a BAFTA for Best Soap and Continuing Drama in 2022 and two Best Serial Drama Awards at the National Television Awards in 2019 and 2020, and accolades at the TV Choice and Inside Soap Awards and the British Soap Awards.
Originally training as a journalist, he worked in radio news and production before switching to television as a producer for Hollyoaks in 2006.
Iain completed our flagship online showrunning training Running the Show to further improve upon his twenty years experience in storytelling and production.
