Thomas Hescott

Thomas Hescott is a theatre director who also works in television. After taking John Yorke’s Storytelling for Screenwriting: Advanced Structure online course, he decided to apply his story-structure skills to continuing drama, and secured a directorial run on EastEnders.

In 2017 he was named on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist and has directed the series finale for Call The Midwife 10, and multiple episodes of Casualty and Holby City.

He created and directed the play Sketching alongside James Graham and co-wrote the plays Outings and The Act with Matthew Baldwin. The Act was nominated for an Off West End most promising playwright award.
